About Oxramet-S IR 5/50/1000 Tablet Oxramet-S IR 5/50/1000 Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine used to treat diabetes. It is used for the treatment of Type II Diabetes. Type II Diabetes Mellitus is a serious condition wherein the body doesnt use insulin effectively, which causes unusual blood glucose levels (either not creating enough insulin, or the insulin they do make does not accomplish its purpose in the body). Oxramet-S IR 5/50/1000 Tablet contains Dapagliflozin (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors), which removes excess sugar from the body via urine, Sitagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor), which works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high and Metformin (biguanides), which works by reducing the sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines. Diet management and exercise, along with treatment of Oxramet-S IR 5/50/1000 Tablet, are used to control blood sugar levels. Oxramet-S IR 5/50/1000 Tablet may cause certain side effects such as vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, headache and allergic reactions.
