About Delcon LM Tablet Delcon LM Tablet is an antihistaminic medicine used in the treatment of allergies. It helps provide relief from various allergic reactions, such as cold, runny nose, sneezing, etc. An allergic reaction is a response that occurs when foreign particles enter the body. This allergic reaction may vary from person to person. Delcon LM Tablet is an anti-allergic medicine containing Montelukast and Levocetirizine. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist, which blocks a chemical messenger (leukotriene) and reduces inflammation and swelling in the nose. Levocetirizine works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger called histamine. This chemical messenger is naturally involved in allergic reactions. Together, this medicine helps to relieve discomfort and unpleasant symptoms, like blocked/runny/itchy nose, and red/watery eyes that occur due to allergic conditions. Delcon LM Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Your dose will depend on your health condition and how you respond to Delcon LM Tablet . You may sometimes experience nausea, skin rash, diarrhoea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, skin rash, and fatigue. Most of these side effects of Delcon LM Tablet are temporary, do not require medical attention, and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor. Consume only if the doctor prescribes it. Never encourage self-medication or suggest your medicine to someone else. You should not take the Delcon LM Tablet if you are allergic to levocetirizine or montelukast, have severe liver or kidney problems, or have epilepsy. Check with your doctor if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other prescribed or non-prescribed medicines.
