About Aloha XT Tablet 3 Aloha XT Tablet 3 belongs to a class of medications called ‘haematinics’ primarily used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen required to various body tissues. Aloha XT Tablet 3 is a combination of two drugs: Ferrous ascorbate (iron supplement) and folic acid (a form of vitamin B9). Aloha XT Tablet 3 works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBC is produced in the body, so that body’s each tissue gets sufficient supply of oxygen. Take Aloha XT Tablet 3 as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset or dark coloured stool. Most of these side effects of Aloha XT Tablet 3 do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. If you are allergic to Aloha XT Tablet 3 or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Aloha XT Tablet 3. Aloha XT Tablet 3 should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor. If you have an allergy to any sugars, inform your doctor before taking Aloha XT Tablet 3 as it may contain lactose. If you have a stomach ulcer, vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorder, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12) or folate-dependent tumour, inform your doctor before taking Aloha XT Tablet 3.
