Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes). Abevia-100 Capsule contains Acebrophylline, which relaxes muscles and widens the lungs’ airways. Additionally, it helps reduce the mucus’s viscosity in the airway and facilitates breathing. It helps to cough out easily and makes breathing easier by opening airways. Use Abevia-100 Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Abevia-100 Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your child’s medical condition. The common side-effects of Abevia-100 Capsule are diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, heartburn, stomach discomfort, skin rash or drowsiness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or you notice any unusual symptoms developing in the child, inform your doctor immediately.
